As part of an ongoing CGI Commitment to Action, Students of the World (SOW) sends teams of photographers and videographers made up of university students to commitment sites, documenting the progress made through each commitment and returning to their campuses and communities to enlighten and share these stories.

Giving Back to New Orleans


At the inaugural CGI U Meeting in 2008, President Clinton was joined by students at a service project with Brad Pitt’s Make It Right program to prepare construction sites for building in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward.
